Lauren Smith
Lauren began dancing at the age of 4 studying Imperial Classical Ballet, Modern Theatre and Tap. During this time she took part in many productions, concerts and fashion shows for clients such as Armani and Donna Karen. Whilst completing her BA Hons degree she began her teacher training in order to pursue her love of teaching. She currently holds the DDE status with the ISTD in modern, ballet and tap and is due to take her Licentiate qualification in tap and modern soon.
Lauren’s passion is for choreography and creating pieces. She has been teaching for over 10 years and prepared students for dance festivals, shows and exams as well as the stage and large productions including ‘Billy Elliot’ on the West End and films such as ‘Mary Poppins Returns’.
Lauren enjoys teaching a wide range of ages and abilities while nurturing a love of dance and performance art.
